London, 22nd November 2007. AdLINK Group is adopting a European
strategy and aims to be the first to give brand-name advertisers and media
agencies a pan-European platform for centrally managed, integrated online
campaigns.
“More and more big name advertisers are shifting their international
campaigns from TV to the Internet - taking advantage of the various online
marketing channels, along with emotionally appealing and personalised
advertising formats - to actively involve target demographics in their brand
environments. AdLINK Group will therefore reflect this development with
some key strategic moves in 2008,” explains Stéphane Cordier, Chief
Executive Officer of AdLINK Group.
To this end, AdLINK Group will expand the presence of its specialists
AdLINK Media, affilinet, net:dialogs, Sedo and composite to all of the
countries in its network.
This means that advertisers will have one-stop, direct access to display,
affiliate, direct and dialog online marketing, as well as domain and e-mail
marketing in key markets including the UK, Germany, Benelux, France, Italy,
Spain and Sweden.
The second central pillar in AdLINK Group’s European strategy is the
introduction of new Managing Director positions at pan-European level.
“These organisational steps will enable the AdLINK Group to further enhance
its product and service proposition, enforcing its position as the leading
independent marketing network for digital marketing solutions in Europe in
2008,” Cordier adds.
AdLINK Group’s European strategy means that European advertisers will be
able to centrally plan, implement, manage and invoice their international,
integrated online campaigns in the future. “Campaigns will be planned
centrally, at a European level, but delivered locally via the AdLINK Group’s
specialist divisions,” says Cordier. “This will allow AdLINK Group to precisely
tailor all marketing activity to the standards and requirements of the
respective markets, thus efficiently reaching the desired target groups
through all online channels in the various countries.”
Cordier also plans to use the network to advance AdLINK Group’s expansion
in the medium term, by tapping new emerging markets. AdLINK Group will
focus its innovation efforts through its specialists, which will expand their
respective portfolios to additional international markets whilst continually
developing new innovative marketing solutions and technologies. “For
example, we are expanding affilinet, our affiliate marketing specialist, beyond
its existing operations in Germany, the UK and France to the Netherlands
and Spain,” says Cordier.
