According to the latest IAB OPM Study, in 2016 Mobile’s contribution to Adspend in the UK increased by 50.8%. Mobile advertising has continued to increase in importance as a component of the marketing mix but the technical challenges for a seamless integration on mobile devices are still high.
This increase in the dominance of mobile means that it ever-important for advertisers and affiliates to make sure that they have the tools to operate effectively in the mobile space.
affilinet has always strived to provide its clients with relevant insights and tools as well as the right infrastructure, to help build a successful and sustainable mobile channel within their affiliate marketing activity.
What is the SDK?
affilinet’s Software Development Kits (known as SDK’s) are an important tool that allow advertisers on the network to seamlessly integrate profile or order tracking within native iOS and Android advertiser Apps. Once implemented orders can be tracked in the native App environment; saving valuable development time.
affilinet Mobile Advertiser SDK update
The recently released affilinet mobile advertiser SDK update makes the life of App developers much easier. With the new version, affilinet provides new profiling and tracking enhancements, in addition to the order tracking already available.
In addition, we have taken into account valuable feedback from advertisers to make developers lives even easier. Without any development, the SDK now ensures clean tracking call retries, for example, if there is a poor internet connection on the mobile device. This reduces development costs and tracking losses.

affilinet is also integrated into the most common standard mobile tracking SDK vendors such as adjust.io and appsflyer. Advertisers who use several big networks/partners can easily integrate affilinet by using one of these standard SDKs. But unfortunately these vendors do not provide all functionalities affilinet is able to offer via its own mobile advertiser SDK.
